However, extra time off can often make or break the progress you’ve made in training for the upcoming season. While it’s important to get plenty of rest and relaxation during your break, it’s also important to keep up a regular schedule of activity. Prolonged periods of sitting can be unhealthy. During commercial breaks or long show intros, try to get up and stretch or do a few reps of simple exercises like lunges, push-ups, crunches, and squats.
